Join us for the scientific conference, “War Trauma: Psychological Consequences in a Generational Perspective,” hosted by the Faculty of Psychology at UW and the Polish Society for Research on Traumatic Stress. We extend a warm invitation to all interested in understanding war trauma, PTSD, and its intergenerational impact.

📖 On this special occasion, members of the ESTSS will share their practical insights and research findings, marking the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the European Society of Traumatic Stress (ESTSS). Among the highlights, we will explore the results of pioneering research on the intergenerational transmission of World War II trauma in Poland, conducted by Prof. Marcin Rzeszutek, Prof. Maja Lis-Turlejska, Prof. Katarzyna Schier, Prof. Paweł Holas, Prof. Małgorzata Dragan, and a group of dedicated PhD students and undergraduates from the Faculty of Psychology at UW.

📍Location: At the Faculty of Psychology, UW (free of charge) and online (with a fee).

🗣️ Language: First part of the conference will be in English (translated to Polish online) and the second part will be in Polish.
